This blog is dedicated to finding as much truth as can be known at this point about ancient oral traditions and written text that survived time to be available to us today, over 2000 years since Jesus was on earth in human form, and perhaps 6000 years after the original "patriarchs" of the Bible lived.
While I could use other places to record my thought processes as I search through other's material, I know that there are a few who follow and claim to enjoy my discoveries. So for them, I am going to continue to utilize this format.
I really know very little about ancient text. What I do know is a fair amount of scripture of the Bible as it is used by the Protestant Christians. I recognize and can quote scriptures from the King James Version, the only version I knew existed until I was about 19 years old. I know, sheltered.
What little I know appears to be more than the average persons who go or don't go to church regularly. Many people can quote far more scripture than I can, of course. And I admire them. But simply quoting scripture is about as useful as memorizing a maintenance manual. Until you apply what you can recite it is just worthless rote.
If you chose to follow and wish to comment, write me via email at my normal email address. If I can stick to the intended focus I have set forward I may open this blog up in time. But for now, it will just be us. You are hand picked and I consider all of you my friends, even and especially those of you related to me. Blessings to you.
